Afilias posted a news article about a Web-based campaign via a site at TextFreeRoads.info. Jalise Hinton and Tempestt Turman started this website to help stop distracted driving. They want to make people aware of the dangers of driving and texting at the same time. Afilias, the company behind the .info registry, helped Hinton and Turman to put up 25 billboards in 17 cities across the USA. They will continue and try to add many more.
I don’t want to sound judgmental but the TextFreeRoads.info website lacks some original content. With all the media coverage I think it deserves a few well written articles and not just links to other websites.
This campaign will sure help stop texting while driving. And it’s good news for the .info domain space also.
