New gTLD Inquiry By Someone That Writes Differently

newgtldI got an inquiry for one of my New gTLD domain names today at the DomainNameSales.com.

It turned out not to be a prospective buyer but it was really interesting how this internet user from Pakistan arrived at my domain name.

He left a comment that said:

“i.repair.tv.and.iwant.learn.reapir.led.please.guide.me.what.can.i.do”

My domain name was repair.guide so you can understand how he was confused. But I find remarkable the way he writes.

I have only seen one guy write like that but and he sure does it on purspose. Frank Schilling has left several comments of various blogs writing like that in support of New gTLDs. And lately sometimes he writes his name as ‘Frank.Schilling’.

Of course this above was not a valid inquiry. Have you noticed that in other New gTLD inquiries?

Have you noticed any other trends in New gTLD inquiries?

  1. Funny indeed 🙂 Got from time to time people who seem not to understand the domain might be for sale but simply leave a comment like:

    – need a battery for car audi
    – repair washing machine door bosch
    – need a drone camera for a project in …

It’s actually positive that people “read” the meaning in the domain itself and act on it.

  2. I get train schedule inquiries from India all the time on tarin dot com. Dyslexic train passengers, perhaps? 😀

  3. My .property domain sales listings get the most views on Sedo. No offers yet and I don’t know who keeps looking at them.

  5. Hello Konstantinos,

The coming carnage will fast change all new Quasi-Derivative gTLD Extensions adversely.

The stage has been set, for a confrontation of ALL Present Online Extension Holders with Google and Amazon Both. The Online and offline DNS Stakeholders will crush both Google and Amazons assault on the Domain Name Systems Hierarchy and The Subverting Monopoly Power Grab will ultimately topple both GOOGLE And Amazons effort s to topple the DNSs Nuetrality. COMING SOON !
