  1. I just registered

    Selfsustaining.green
    reusableresources.green

those were 2 of the total 5 names that I could even think of that would relevant.

  2. Retodded I think the break in your domain, really makes it look cheesy, keyword1keyword2 DOT Extension, just looks unprofessional

I don’t blame you they reserved all the good names, and some of the examples shown above are the registries own sites, but you wasted $120 for nothing.

Keyword1.Extension is the only real use

    • I agree.
I only like 1 word new gtlds with very very few exceptions.

    • I suppose , but self sustainability and renewable resources are practically synonymous with he green movement. Those two concepts can’t be communicated in 1 word, but I think to an end user in this particular case, they don’t look as worthless as they do to the majority of domain investors .

      People are more
Gung ho and passionate when it comes to the green movement and the environment than a lot of businesses are about their own businesses, and I think a lot of these dot green domains may likely be used for non-profits and lobbying groups and the like where they aren’t looking as much at being sophisticated in their branding as they are in getting their moral-driven purposes out on the table.
In that sense, I think a subsection of this market for these domains aren’t going to be looking at them in the same business sense as most of these other new gltds and that’s where I would downplay the importance of the redundant cheesiness that these seem to portray.
That being said, these types of groups are just as willing if not more to spend the money to their ideas out there in a domain that may be cheesy and redundant but at the sane time quite clear and concise as to what their purpose is.

With all that being said, and the green movement seemingly increasingly in popularity globally, I figured I pick up at least a couple just to wait and see what happened. With this particles domain, knowing that its more about getting a message out as compared to trying to differentiate yourself with a sophisticated brand or name, I figured it was likely better odds going with the type I went with as compared to anything else.

Again, did I have to buy any? No. But I see his green thing growing rather than doing anything else so I figured night well get a little piece if the pie if possible. Its not like we’ve never been surprised before with things like this.
