This week 17 New gTLDs enter General Availability, another 2 New gTLDs enter the EAP General Availability.
Minds + Machines opens up the week with .cooking, .country, .fishing, .horse, .rodeo and .vodka. These 6 extensions are the first strings offered exclusively by Minds + Machines and enter general availability on Monday the 15th of September.
.Vegas is launching today the 15th of September.
.Organic also enters general availability on the 15th of September. It is run by Afilias.
.дети (children in Russian) is also launching today. Some IDN strings have done really good so far.
Radix is lancing its first 3 extensions this week. Landrush for .Press, .Host and .Website ends today and general availability starts on Wednesday the 17th. If you are looking to get an advantage on /press you can buy the complete list of all 7,000+ .media domains sorted by renewal price including all the premium domains with prices.
Also on the 17th another extension from Rightside is entering general availability: .Republican.
Donuts enters EAP General Availability for the following 2 New gTLDs on Wednesday, September 17th 2014: .Direct and .Place.
It seems that Donuts is slowing down. In the next month it only has 2 more New gTLDs coming out.
4 Donuts New gTLDs will be out of the EAP pricing and into the real (reg fee) general availability on Wednesday: .Loans, .Life, .Guide and .Church.
No New gTLDs enter landrush phase this week.
You can register any Donuts domain name using the Donuts EAP that is available in registrars that sell Donuts gTLDs. EAP prices start at about $12,500 and are lowered within the course of the week until they reach the regular registration cost after the 7 day period.
Go Daddy’s early access prices are $12,539.99 for day one, $3,164.99 for day two, $1,239.99 for day three, $689.99 for day four and $189.99 for days five to seven. After day seven the regular registration cost applies.
The Donuts Early Access Program (EAP) is designed for registrants who want to secure relevant, memorable domain names the instant they’re available. The EAP takes the place of a traditional landrush for all Donuts gTLDs.
Interested individuals, organizations, businesses and others can register names on a first-come, first-served, non-restricted basis. In addition, this program allows brand owners the opportunity to obtain non-trademark domain names to help promote and protect brands, register authoritative terms for their industries, or simply get an interesting and usable Internet identity.
Early access registrations are available for the first seven days of a gTLD’s general availability. EAP commences today at 16:00 UTC (11:00 a.m. US Eastern Standard Time) and ends in a week from now, also at 16:00 UTC. Each week a series of Donuts gTLD launches, EAP will begin at 16:00 UTC on Wednesday and close at 16:00 UTC the following Wednesday.
More are on the way. In fact, Donuts will open several gTLDs each week for most of 2014.
As a reminder, each gTLD’s general availability is preceded by a 60 day process known as Sunrise, when trademark holders are able to secure their trademarked terms. Once this phase is completed, the gTLD is open for anyone to register names. Registrations are available only through accredited domain name registrars — you can find a complete and regularly updated list of registrars that sell Donuts gTLDs here.

The .organic website explains that it’s a restricted tld that requires certification of one’s links with the organic community. Looks like a great string even so!
It is nice but it is mostly on the wrong side of the dot.
some lucky in here won the wellness.vegas ?

@V PLEASE. I understand your sentiment and excitement but please hold on for a second. buy ONLY one word domains or 2 word domains that work together examples casino.vegas and onlinepoker.vegas. I personally rarely buy 2 word domains in new gold (say never)
Good luck
Right.
It seems that live only goes with gambling keywords when the gambling is online.
When you are in Vegas it is implied that it is live so the keyword doesn’t make much sense.
So onlinepoker.vegas doesn’t make sense to me either.
You mean william hill dont have sense who is running live casino
– http://vegas.williamhill.com/live-casino/
– http://vegas.williamhill.com/tutorials/live-casino/roulette/
– http://vegas.williamhill.com/tutorials/live-casino/blackjack/
– http://vegas.williamhill.com/tutorials/live-casino/baccarat/
This is online gambling so it makes sense.
When you have a casino you don’t advertise a “live casino”.
It’s like saying came to watch a soccer game. There will be live soccer.
But if you have a streaming service or scores then it makes sense.
Then my domain targets william hill & online gaming companies.
But they are aiming on a global market. Why would they use a .vegas?
You would have to find a gaming company named “Vegas” or a company that has a brand called Vegas and even then…
If poker.vegas does sell for $1,099,999.99 then livepoker.vegas will be a good one to have
It will never ever be sold for that money. If they had a 1 million to 1 shot of selling it then by making the annual renewal 1.1 million they pretty much buried the domain.
Thank you Mark
Yeah you are right bul I am excited and going to hold the domains for years until they hit million dollars. Its common factor that every one prefer to register one word domains and for your kind information i have registered 100+ one word new domains but whereas coming to .vegas can you let know any one word domains related to gambling.
Just go through the link : http://www.nic.vegas/business-proposals/ where you find even multiple keywords reserved for sale.
Anyways thank you at last you wish me “Good Luck”
I don’t want to shot you down but there are never going to be worth million dollars.
A good rule with New gTLDs or any other TLDs: If you can’t find a good domain just walk away.
I got 0 from all these yesterday but did get 10 .guide domains.
No one can let down anyone its all depends on fortune it doesnt mean that the guy who got thousand of domains going to mint money its only individual experience and analysis leads to expectation. where the guys who sold domains for million dollars only late comers exist and fighting for million dollars.
how can you predict that it wont sell for 1.1 million you mean without knowledge dotvegas registry appraisal it for 1.1million dollars ? when poker.com can sell for 27million dollars why not poker.vegas sell for 1.1 million dollars but only problem renewal fee whereas my domains renewal cost 50USD.

I said why and you just answered it again yourself.
Konstantinos,
Will you be updating your weekly “General Availability Calendar” listings? [fingers crossed]
I have found the list very useful! However, of the current list, only .DEALS & .CITY have yet to hit their GA-launch date (…versus all the others which are already in GA).
Thanks again for your ongoing, dedicated reporting of gTLD news & information!
Steve
Hi Steve,
check out the latest review. I have updated it but there are not a lot of extensions from Donuts coming soon. It seems that Donuts has finally ran out of strings. 🙂
