The New gTLDs .red, .blue and .pink launched today by Afilias. The .BLUE, .RED, .PINK general availability period opened at 16:00:00 UTC on April 17, 2014.
A lot of people complained that they couldn’t find what registrars are offering these 3 new gtlds. Visiting the official Afilias website is not very helpful.
Even going to http://www.afilias.info/pre-register gets you nowhere. The official websites for .red, .blue and .pink are subdomains of afilias.info but I can’t find a link to them anywhere.

The 3 New gTLDs are offered by 43 registrars although I had trouble finding where to register the domains on a lot of them. See the list of registrars here: http://red.afilias.info/find-a-registrar. Go Daddy is not on the list but there a lot of good registrars listed.

none, tried a few baby.blue, simply.blue, think.blue, buy.blue all registry reserved, I got other things to do, than do whois checks for reservations.
These colors work better on the other side of the dot, so I will pass. They have already weeded out the good terms, and reserved them. I am just paying their bills with lesser terms.
I got 3 club. and a few others.
The price is a welcome change, and I did not see any labeled premium, so good on the registry for that effort.
They do have a lot of reserved domains.
I’m delighted to say that the guy who placed an offer for one of my *blue.com domains, registered the corresponding *.blue 😀 Instant traffic for me.
its hard to come up with ideas for these ones. all the ones i checked were reserved except 2 which were regged by someone else.

Konstantinos Zournas, I come across colour.blue domain which is registered by you, you got more. Facing problem to register .blue, .red & .pink domain dont know the reason just waiting to register couple of domains.

When I try to do a whois check on domains via the official Afilias pages (by clicking “Domain Registrant Information”), it says whatever.red domain is not supported. Same for blue or pink.
Also, no matter what I search, it says “whatever.red is already taken”

There is no way all the words left of the dot are taken with .blue .red and .pink,,,,,NO WAY. Looks like they are holding back like the others. tru.blue must have slipped through there hands, i have put in some real stupid words just to see and they are taken.
IMO, this is all becoming very comical. Now i see go daddy has .roids that will be available soon. If this was the first of April i would think that was a April fools joke.
I still have not bought one of the new extensions, but i will pass on what i find good or bad.

– only buy oneword domains !!!
– only buy keyword domains !!! (use googletrends and seo tools)
– only buy domains which match and makes sense in a perfect way with the gtld and only if its sounds good and everybody will remember it !!!
– dont buy after golive. use the time for next gtlds

* In this regard I raised ticket to resolve the issue but they respond saying domain registration got denied and registered by some other entity and processed to refund the domain cost.
* You can see the name server pointing to ns1.sedoparking.com & ns2.sedoparking.com I know its not mandatory proof to discuss on this point if they want they can change name server in seconds.
* I registered all new gtlds with godaddy or directi due to not availability of .blue .pink .red .shiksha domain registration from godaddy I registered as a new member with 101domain to register couple of domains but ultimately they play around with me.
* I request you to guide me in this regard I got print shots and proof when did I placed an order with time, date and payment mode.

Yes, I now understand what is going on.
101domain lost the pre-registration to Enom.
But 101domain lists all pre-orders on their control panel weather they are successful or not.
This one was not hence the status: denied.
The fact that the buyer uses the same sedo nameservers confused you a little but it is just a coincidence.
A lot of domainers still use Sedo. (I don’t understand why…)
Again Sorry to say Konstantinos Zournas may be you excuse them but I dont because in business no place for excuse or apologies.
Let say after domain registration if I ask 101domain to cancel the order and refund the domain cost is it possible for them to refund.
I work hard day and night to grab catchy domains and if I lost them because of registrar mistake then who is going to fill my loss.
This is not the first time I had bad experience with 101domain previously I lost around 2000$ in .asia landrush because of net4.in (indian registrar) and they failed to register single domain.
After domain registration confirmation from net4 within couple of days domains disappeared from control panel.
Now you tell me negligence in business is excusable I feel if they cant handle business its better not to enter into business or else because of their mistakes customer suffer.
I don’t say it’s excusable. If you don’t like them then you can simply not use them.
I try to make orders more than 24 hours before the release.
Sorry to say Konstantinos Zournas I dont accept 101domain lost the pre-registration to Enom because I place order on 18 Apr 2014 07:00 UTC at 101domain and see the domain registration time 2014-04-18 07:31:05 UTC at eNom its almost 31 Minutes ahead. See what they (101domain) respond to my ticket regarding domain name registration

* I agree with you Konstantinos Zournas if I am late or place order after registration.
* Before I place any domain registration order I cross check its availability or premium then I place an order. Similarly I did same before placing redgreen.blue order I cross checked then I placed order honestly speaking its 100% cheating and they agreed their mistake in their reply.
The most probable thing that happened is that the 101domain pre-order did not work.
It has happened to me a couple of time when I ordered too close to the GA time.
Have you happened to change anything on your account recent;y, such as registrant info? After changing a credit card address, I noticed that what should have been instant GA registrations were taking hours on 101 when others were doing it in one second. When I inquired, I got this response:

So you may want to call and check that there are no inconsistencies.
Its not too close GA time Zournas I waited couple of hours the day I placed order when I placed an order I cross checked domain availability and surprising thing is sedo approved domain for parking without ownership confirmation sedo wont approve for parking. Domain RedGreen.Blue is in my sedo domain management. I lost one unique domain because of 101domain which is not tolerable going to post article on top blogs.

I’m not sure how well color domains will do compared to extensions with meaning like .foundation. I’ve heard some Canadians are using .red as an alternative to .ca (as red is one of the national colors), but I doubt that will catch on. I’m not surprised at all that some registrars aren’t bothering to carry .pink ,blue or .red domains.
