Apuestas.com sells for 165,000 Euro and 3-month old Tratec.com for $22,000 at Sedo

The domain name apuestas.com (it means bet in Spanish) sold for 165,000 Euro at Sedo. The domain that was parked at Sedo was sold by Apuestas Limited from Malta. The domain was registered in 1996. Whois has not yet been updated to reflect the buyer.

The domain name tratec.com sold for $22,000 at Sedo. The domain was owned since 1996 by “Tratec of California” that let it expire in 2010.

It was then bought by the “Tratec Gruppen AS” company from Norway probably at a Namejet auction for expired Network Solutions domain names. They then let the domain expire 2 years later, in late 2012. The domain dropped in November 2012 and was picked up by a Korean domainer using Namejet again.

This week the domain was sold to an unknown buyer for $22,000 at Sedo. Whois has not yet been updated to reflect the new owner.
