Top 10 Trending Keywords in .COM & .NET Registrations in July (Trump, Cuba & Bible)

The top 10 trending keywords registered in .COM and .NET during the month of July 2015 were published by Verisign.

There is no  common keyword in the 2 lists. This seems strange to me. I would expect Trump to be in both lists. What about frogs? Did something happen in July?

These are not the top 10 keywords but rather the keywords that saw the highest increase in terms of domain name registrations. This is what Verisign says about the list:

“Note: Each list was developed by examining keyword registration growth by identified language relative to the preceding month, such that those keywords with the highest percentage of registration growth are being reported on. This method is used to eliminate commonly registered keywords such as “online” and “shop” to provide a true look at monthly trends by language.”
