Spammer From Sweden Sends Numerous Emails With New gTLD Domains For Sale

Martin Wiss a spammer from Sweden is sending out numerous (hundreds or probably thousands) of emails today in an attempt to sell some of his New gTLD domains to owners of similar .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz and other gTLD domains.

Most of the domains he has for sale are Radix New gTLDs such as .online, .website, .space and .site. He is also selling a few .company, .onl and other New gTLDs. Most of the domains were registered less than a year ago so he is probably looking to unload the domains before they are up for renewal. Whoisology shows he owns about 1,000 domains and all are New gTLDs.

His real email is martin@wiss.se as this is the email in all domain name whois. He is sending all his spam emails from a static IP in Sweden and has his gmail address in the email message.

You can find below a sample of the hundreds of spam emails I got today in different email addresses and in just a couple of hours. I bet he is only starting.

  1. I got these too. He sends the dot .whatever to matching .com owners.

  2. Not sure you should call him spammer…The fact that he didnt do his homework and realize that you own many names that he is sending out too.. doesnt mean he is a spammer.

Dont you do outbound sales to relevant or potential buyers?
So he chose to target .com domain owners… rather than End users in the specific industry.

You target End users and he targets you… so its one cycle lower..

its sort of a domainer selling to a domainer… His style might not be great but still….

    • Using a software sending thousands emails harvesting whois makes you a spammer. Period.

      • Hello Konstantinos,

” Using a software sending thousands emails harvesting whois makes you a spammer. Period. ”

We agree with your statement above Konstantinos.

Oh and by the way we feel this spammer would have far better end results by spamming Google Advertisers who have been drinking the Google Kool-Aid about New TLDs. The new TLDs O N L Y make limited usefullness O N L Y within the Google SEM System. The Google Advertisers ARE NOT (The Really Smart money).
Clever educated Domainers are the really Smart money.

Most Google Ad-sense advertisers are drinking Google Kool-Aid and going with the mentality that other extensions than the Strategic .COM Profit Centers are just as good, as long as they use Google Ad-sense Marketing.

You will find that 99% of all Google Ad Marketing Agencies are Clueless about the superior Marketing Strategies that All .COM Profit Centers embody. They got it wrong thirty years ago and continue their flawed Marketing Strategies to this day.

They still don’t get that they lose their clients valuable Rustled Traffic within the Google Traffic Rustling Maze. Actually losing as much Traffic as they gain in the Google Ad System. Utterly Amazing to us that this is still being used by most Uneducated Online Advertising Agencies.

If their Online website owners knew the truth of the matter, they would be Furious.

There are two recipes for Online Business Failures:
        1. NOT owning a .COM Profit Center
        2. Using Google Adsense Marketing

      • There are many forms of spam. Spam does not only have to be in the form of an email. There is a great example of blog spam right on this post. Can anyone guess which comment is spam?

  3. Here are a few of the commercial email standards that The CAN-SPAM Act in the US requires & are enforced by the FTC.

    Emails must have accurate:
    “From” lines
    Header
    Physical address/valid contact info listed

It must be stated that the email is an advertisement or a marketing solicitation. The email must have an unsubscribe option. You can’t use harvested email addresses.

I know this email is from Sweden but regardless of where people are spamming from, they should at least follow these very basic guidelines or stop spamming…

      • Hello Aaron,

We hope this may help you and others to make wise Online Marketing choices. Thanks for interacting and allowing some Marketing Strategy Truths to be revealed. JAS

The new Google financed and inspired TLDs introductions, that Google heavily promoted ICANN accepting, were never meant to be extensions that would be used predominately for Stand Alone Business Destinations. Their Highest and Best use would be for proliferating Digital Junk Mail infused into Googles SEO Maze. They would be Googles tools to expand their Search Engine Marketing Base. This Marketing strategy has succeeded extremely well.

Domainers not aware of this big picture started speculating in new TLDs as being capable of being stand alone Business destination addresses. This was due to the new TLD promoters concerted effort to employ Bait and Switch advertising by assigning the .COM assets values and strengths to the new TLDs in other words Bait and Switch deceptive Marketing.

This questionable strategy is now becoming more evident and Domainers are waking up after the fact of purchasing new TLDs only to find them to be Debt lease obligations and NOT resembling anything close to .COM Assets.

        Domainers are being Fleeced.
