  3. I find this really interesting. New York City, as much as any other geo tld, has the incentive & opportunity to really build out .NYC steadily over the next 5-10 years. Their success will provide an example for other cities to follow should they choose to get behind their own city brand.

    At some point, there is sufficient critical mass whereby enough local businesses buy into .NYC and it becomes familiar to people both regionally and then nationally.
