Uniregistry Sells The Domain Pro.Flowers For $50,000

sold-domainsYet another 5-figure New gTLD sale was announced today by Uniregistry.

Frank Schilling, owner of Uniregistry, announced today on domainsherpa.com that they sold the new gTLD domain name Pro.Flowers for $50,000. The domain name was sold to

FTD.com that is a flower and gift shop.

It was also revealed last week that the domain name Commercial.Property was sold by Uniregistry at the DomainNameSales.com platform for $25,000.

Commercial.Property went straight to the #7 place of the all time New gTLD Sold.Domains and on the #3 spot of the year to date New gTLD domain names sales. It is only trailing Wine.Club and Vegas.Club.

Uniregistry is the registry of the .Flowers New gTLD. The domain name is not yet resolving.

There were also a few other New gTLD domain name sales reported in the past week including my own sale of Create.Media for 5,000 Euro (read here), the sale of Pocket.Money at Sedo for $2,799 and more…

  1. Konstantinos, I love your blog, but it is kinda annoying to read your recent sale “news” days after bunch of other bloggers already wrote about it. Unless you believe your readers read just your blog, you should do something with timing.

    • Only one blog reported this yesterday except domainsherpa. And it was reported late in the day. Also we do not run a collective blog. And I posted some extra info others didn’t. I post when I think that people will read the post. Its no use posting when everybody is sleeping. For example dnjournal makes many posts days after. If you know about it just skip it. Thanks

  2. Would that be the same ProFlowers company with the following trademark;

  3. I believe Fowers.mobi sold for over $100 000 few years ago
Wasn’t Frank Schilling a buyer or perhaps Rick Schwartz. I don’t remember exactly who

    • Flowers.mobi was bought by 1-800 Flowers for $5K, after the guy who bought it for $10K needed to sell some domains for quick liquidity… Original buyer R S paid $200K

  4. Flowers, of course not fowers

  5. You don’t even cite that it was on Domainsherpa by providing a link in your story above. Poor blogger integrity. People want to verify what you’re writing about, post a link. It provides more data for those that want it.

  6. Mate, people’s comments can be harsh , let’s not forget these blogs or articles are supplied to us for free these people invest there own time and effort everyday for us to help us all grow our domain information and I appreciate all the effort you guys do

    • True, that was harsh and not necessary from Johnny boy.

But recently I’ve read from domain bloggers this ‘giving for free’! Well, no you think we believe that?

Surely bloggers or in this case domain bloggers are passionate writers, well good ones anyhow, and who wants to see a bunch of ‘blog scraping’ to bulk out the post. Well we do don’t we, I’m sure you’ll know the main culprits.

Anyway, it’s a business with paid sponsors etc. Spreading your brand. Just don’t say you’re all providing a solid free service day in day out. Thanks.

      Keep up the great work.

    • I agree.
I did hear this info on pro.flowers on the sherpa show and frank didn’t even know that FTD bought the domain..lol.
But Konstantinos does a hell of a job reporting things that are happening from moment to moment in this industry.
      Keep up the great work.

  7. How does one reach a person with actual insight into the value of a gTLD at a corporation like FTD? We have some domains that would be well suited for a similar stake holder in a different industry, but the usual contact forms/emails/phone numbers never seem to reach past the lowly webmaster, or possibly a PR office.

  8. Just wanted to say that KS for your countless hours of hard work, KZ. This message is coming at you from across the globe but written w sincerity. Keep up the awesome work.
