Tucows Launches The ‘New’ OpenSRS and Hover Reduces Domain Prices

opensrsAfter months in development, OpenSRS has finally launched their new website. According to OpenSRS the transition from the old website to the new one, was a success.

Tucows Inc. ,headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is one of the largest domain registrars and operates Hover, a domain and webhosting service, and OpenSRS, a platform for domain resellers.

Everything was redesigned from the ground up. Here is what to expect at the new OpenSRS:

  • Updated pricing page (The new pricing page now displays more details on a domain (renewals, transfers, redemptions, etc.))
  • Launch list (a launch list that contains new and upcoming extensions).
  • Documentation (You can now find API guides, agreements, contracts and much more under one roof.)
  • Marketing (You now have the flexibility to pick and choose what domains you want to market to your customers. Every downloadable marketing kit contains valuable assets to help you promote with confidence.)

Hover also announced that pricing for nearly all of the over 200 domain extensions they offer have been reduced. The price of new .com registrations is down to $12.99/year so it seems that they have a long way to go to be competitive. Check out the full price list here.

  1. So, instead of collecting money to start a class action against google partnering with ALL they first competitors, i.e. the parking platforms, now only paid news we have?

Is this the domain industry today?

This year is the 10th anniversary of the GRAND THEFT DOMAIN GAME, i.e. google corrupting sedo and after them all the other parking platforms and still domainers are not able to start a class action in the 10th anniversary of GRAND THEFT DOMAIN internet videogame?
