Comedy Post By DomainGang.com Makes The News! (Jesus.Saves Sold For $2.4 Million)

It seems that a lot of people are confused by some of the DomainGang.com comedy posts and the proof is that a fake news article announcing the sale of the domain name Jesus.Saves for $2.4 million was reproduced by The Church Lady Blogs:

jesus.saves

As you can see the unsuspecting editor was upset about the price and as to how many hungry mouths the money spend on the domain could feed.

Of course the domain name sale was never real and the domain jesus.saves does not even exists. The New gTLD .saves is not even in the list of future new domain name extensions.

I think that Acro (Theo) should start posting a “100% comedy” banner below each comedy article.

  1. This isn’t the first time it happened. 😀 The story about how a Singapore domainer got in trouble for his registration of an .XXX domain sent ICM Registry lots of traffic. Other posts went viral as well. This is how the Internet works, when people fail to comprehend what they just read. For the record, this particular Church Lady blog rips stories and adds monetization hyperlinks to words.

    • I love DG and for those who cannot follow the storyline must have a very low IQ and have no sense of humor at all.

      • Well, not everybody knows domains like we do.
If you first arrive at DomainGang it is very difficult to figure out what is comedy and what is not.

      • Kosta, it’s the same with many other web sites on the Internet that mix parody and real news. If a user doesn’t click on the “About Us” page where all is explained, how much more hand-holding is necessary?

In a nutshell: Look for the “100%” graphic image at the bottom of an article; if it’s there, the story is true. If not, the story has potential of becoming true in the future, because life is stranger than fiction. 😀

  2. I have seen so many negative comments left by people who absolutely hate domaingang website.

I am not surprised that BullS like DG – they are both on the same level, useless.
