Contact.info dropped by FNAC, caught with a simple backorder in November and sold at Sedo

The domain name Contact.info was caught after a drop on the 22nd of November 2012. The seller paid a simple backorder and got the domain without an auction. The domain’s original registration date was 2001 but the previous owner let it expire. The .info domain name was sold last week at Sedo for 5,211 USD.

The previous owner of the domain name was FNAC that is an international entertainment retail chain offering cultural and electronic products, founded in 1954. FNAC is the largest retailer of its kind in France.

The domain was bought by a Canadian Company called Shogun Interactive Development.
